FuturHealth Strengthens Executive Team to Accelerate Growth and Engagement on Its Weight-Loss Platform
Keith Koch Joins as EVP of Growth Product & Experience Design, Bringing Decades of Expertise in Healthcare and E-commerce
SAN DIEGO, CA – April 15, 2025 –
FuturHealth, a leader in
personalized weight-loss solutions, today announced the appointment of
Keith Koch
as Executive Vice President of Growth Product & Experience Design.
Koch, a veteran in digital healthcare and e-commerce, will spearhead
product innovation and engagement strategies to enhance the company’s
platform and drive sustained patient success.
“Keith is a visionary in product development and digital
transformation, and we’re thrilled to have him on board,” said Luke
Mahoney, co-founder and CEO of FuturHealth. “His expertise in
scaling platforms and driving patient engagement will be invaluable
as we continue to expand, deepen partnerships, and deliver even
better outcomes for our users.”
Koch brings over two decades of leadership across Walmart Health,
Optum, and
UnitedHealthcare, where he led groundbreaking digital health initiatives. As Head of
Product for Walmart Health, he built the company’s healthcare digital
capabilities from the ground up, fueling a 583% increase in revenue, a
5x rise in patient visits, and an NPS jump from 67 to 86. At Optum, he
drove major digital transformation efforts across OptumRx, OptumBank,
and UnitedHealthcare, launching virtual assistants and secure
messaging platforms that improved customer self-service and retention.
“I’m excited to join FuturHealth at such a pivotal time in the
weight-loss industry,” said Koch. “GLP-1 treatments are transforming
the space, but real, lasting results come from a holistic approach.
I look forward to helping FuturHealth scale its platform and further
integrate personalized support, nutrition, and expert care to
improve long-term health outcomes.”
FuturHealth’s all-in-one platform combines personalized treatment,
expert guidance, and tailored nutrition plans to support users at
every stage of their weight-loss journey. Patients start with an
in-depth assessment to match their needs with the right plan, then
receive ongoing virtual consultations with licensed medical providers.
The company’s doctor- and dietitian-designed meal plans empower users
with sustainable habits during and after GLP-1 treatment, ensuring
long-term success.
Koch’s appointment follows FuturHealth’s recent strategic partnerships
with
Affirm
and
Valisure, as well as compelling
efficacy data
from a large-scale study with InCSD. The study confirmed that
combining FuturHealth’s program with GLP-1 medications like
Semaglutide and Tirzepatide significantly enhances weight-loss results
compared to medication alone.
